Muse (MuseMON) Magazine Deck

This deck was created in collaboration with MUSE magazine. In the March 2013 issue, the magazine wrote a piece about the Phylo project and made a call for submissions to their readers to create deck artwork. Entries were moderated, researched, and then used to create the MUSEMON deck. This was released in two installments in two separate magazine issues (Nov/Dec 2013 and Jan 2014 MUSE magazine issues). Except for the EVENT cards (which highlight the various MUSE characters), all art was created by young readers!

Play: This card may be played in IMMEDIATE response to any EVENT card.
Effect: Chad’s Reverse-O-Tron Shield deflects any EVENT card and bounces its effects onto your opponent.
Visit an Old Friend with Mimi

Play: This card can be played immediately for below effect and then discarded.
Effect: You may now rescue one SPECIES card from the discard pile and put it in your hand.
Kokopelli’s Flying Pies
Event Card
Play: Place this card anywhere on the table.
Effect: This place becomes any TERRAIN of your choosing. Any adjacent cards which are not compatible with this TERRAIN must be immediately discarded.

Play: Place this card on top of any PLANT SPECIES card.
Effect: The PLANT SPECIES card is immediately discarded.
