FACT: One the biggest physical difference between the juvenile/subadult and the fully grown adult Tyrannosaurus Rex is the presence of a coat of protofeathers which helps regulate the dinosaur’s body heat. The lighter overall build, including the weaker jaw in the juvenile, meant that it lacked the bone crunching power of the adult.
