It is near school Portables, beside forest and Janet’s class. The bark is scaly like. It is not a big tree. It can be used to make jelly.

Bitter Cherry- Structure 2

Prunu Emarginata

This tree lives in a dense forest habitat. It’s bark and cherries are bitter, hence its name. The berry is edible if desperate but bitter.

It locates beside the small field playground fence.

This is a thin black berry tree with red berries. Use: eat the berry, making basket and mats, and house building. This is near school fence.

It has greyish or reddish barks and buds. It has small oval leaves. You could eat the berries but it tastes bitter. This tree locates beside small playground soccer field.

This is a shrub(small tree), grows up to 9m tall. The leaves are oval shaped, about 2-8cm long which have uneven size teeth on the edges. Aboriginal people use this waterproof bark o make basket. You can find this tree by the school small field fence.
