Bacterial Growth
Event CardPLAY: can be played on ANY bacteria SPECIES card (including upside down cards placed due to SPREADING of bacteria). EFFECT: Any bacterial cards adjacent to this card is now worth +1 points (includes upside down card).
Increase Biodiversity
Event cardPLAY: can be played immediately for below effect and then discarded.
EFFECT: Allows player to look through his/her discard pile, and choose 1 SPECIES card to put back into his/her hand.
Migration
Event cardPLAY: on 1 SPECIES card of any TERRAIN. This card has an immediate effect. EFFECT: The affected SPECIES card AS WELL AS adjacent cards (under the player’s control) can all MOVE: this together will count as a single action. Discard EVENT card after use.
Overpopulation
Event cardPlay: Place on any SPECIES card of FOOCHAIN 2 or higher.
Effect: Any SPECIES card(s) that is the adjacent “diet” of the played card is immediately discarded.
Population Control
Event cardPLAY: on 1 SPECIES card. EFFECT: The opponent may only have one of that SPECIES in play. Discard all excess species cards. This includes cards which were a result of organism SPREAD.
Oil Spill
Event CardPlay: Place this card on any water based SPECIES card
Effect: The played SPECIES card is discarded. All neighbouring species cards still adjacent to the EVENT after 1 turn will also need to be discarded.
