Neoraja caerulea, also known as the blue ray, is a species of fish in the Rajidae family. This small ray reaches a total length of approximately 30 centimetres (12 in) and is endemic to the north-eastern Atlantic Ocean off Ireland and Iceland.[1] It occurs at depths of 600 to 1,262 metres (2,000 to 4,140 ft).[1]

Inhabits the deeper parts of the continental slope and on slopes of submarine banks (Ref. 3167). Feeds on all kinds of bottom animals (Ref. 3167). Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
